How Polkadot deposits are credited
Guveno scans only GRANDPA-finalized blocks, which cannot be reorganized, and credits a transfer only when its event shows it succeeded, not merely that it was included.
Each deposit reaches you as a webhook: deposit.detected while it is pending, then deposit.confirmed with the exact amount delivered, which is the signal to credit it.
Sending DOT
Withdrawals are built and signed on your side, offline if you like, and broadcast once.
Every withdrawal is prepared by the API, signed with key material only you hold, and broadcast once. A send whose outcome is unknown is never retried blind. See withdrawals and hot wallets for automated payouts.
List your Polkadot wallets
curl "https://api.guveno.com/v1/wallets?chain=polkadot&network=paseo" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer gv_live_your_key_here"Wallets are created from the dashboard, the Node.js or Python SDK, or the CLI, so the recovery phrase is generated and encrypted on your side.
Polkadot questions
Which Polkadot assets does Guveno support?
Guveno supports DOT, the native coin. There are no Polkadot tokens on the list today.
When is a Polkadot deposit confirmed?
One confirmation by default (GRANDPA-finalized blocks only). Until then the deposit is reported as pending, and you should not credit it.
Which plans include Polkadot?
Testnet from Startup up. Mainnet is an $89/mo add-on on Startup and included on Pro and Enterprise.
Does Guveno hold my Polkadot keys?
No. Guveno is self-custodial: your recovery phrase is encrypted on your device, and Guveno never holds a key that can move your funds. It watches your addresses and prepares transactions, and you sign them.
