How Arbitrum deposits are credited
Arbitrum blocks arrive several times a second, and a block is only as final as the batch it lands in on Ethereum. So besides the depth, a deposit waits until its block is reported finalized, typically 15 to 20 minutes after it appears.
A token deposit is credited only from a Transfer event emitted by the token contract to your address, and only when the transaction succeeded. A token transfer that returns false without reverting moves nothing, so it credits nothing.
Each deposit reaches you as a webhook: deposit.detected while it is pending, then deposit.confirmed with the exact amount delivered, which is the signal to credit it.
Sending ETH and tokens
The same prepare, sign and broadcast flow as Ethereum, with ETH on Arbitrum paying the network fee.
Every withdrawal is prepared by the API, signed with key material only you hold, and broadcast once. A send whose outcome is unknown is never retried blind. See withdrawals and hot wallets for automated payouts.
